Civil protection has issued the bulletin of coronavirus infections. In the last 24 hours in Italy the cases still remain over a thousand a day.
Covid-19 continues to sow terror in the Bel Paese. In the last few hours, the infection from the virus has already exceeded 25 million worldwide. In Italy the situation is not alarming compared to other countries, but this does not mean that the situation can be considered calm.

As regards the last 24 hours, today’s bulletin of the Civil Protection informs us that 1585 infections (out of 101,773 swabs), 13 people died and 689 recovered. In addition, there are 5 more people in intensive care and 63 hospitalizations.
However, the numerous outbreaks that are developing throughout the country are still worrying. Although the Italian numbers are the lowest in Europe, the situation must be monitored with extreme attention. The rise in the contagion curve, in fact, in recent weeks has recorded very high numbers.

Infections are increasing in Lazio, Lombardy and Campania
In Italy, the contagion curve continues to rise. The regions that recorded the highest number of positivity in the last 24 hours are in order: the Lazio with 492 new cases, the Campania with 302 cases and the Lombardy with 272 cases. Do not underestimate the 200 cases in Puglia, 178 in Emilia Romagna, 173 in Sicily, 136 in Piedmont, 135 in Liguiria and 109 in Veneto. The remaining regions of the peninsula instead register cases of less than 100 per day. Furthermore the Sicily Region communicates whereas of the 96 new positive cases today, 2 are migrant guests at the Lampedusa hotspot; there Calabria Region communicates that of the 16 new positive cases today, 3 are migrants; there Abruzzo Region communicates which today resulted in 33 new positive cases. However, 2 cases from the past few days were subtracted from the total, as they are already in charge of other Regions.
