According to the Hamburg social authority, 155 new corona cases were registered on Monday. That is 46 less than the Monday a week ago and 20 more than on Sunday.
According to the authorities, a total of 46,562 people in Hamburg have tested positive for the corona virus since the pandemic began. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 39,500 of these can now be regarded as recovered. On Sundays and Mondays, however, the number of cases is usually lower than on other days of the week. On the one hand, there is less testing on weekends, and on the other hand, not all of the data is transmitted by the health authorities.
Incidence value at 86.1
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days fell slightly to 86.1, according to the information. According to the status on Friday, 416 corona patients are being treated in Hamburg’s hospitals. 84 of them are receiving intensive care.
According to the RKI, 1,073 people in Hamburg have died of Covid 19 disease since the beginning of the pandemic.
