Lives can be saved with a blood donation: 153 people in Uetze followed a call from the Red Cross to donate blood.
Uetze.Roll up your sleeves: Blood donations remain important even – or especially during the corona pandemic. For this reason, many citizens have now followed the call of the Red Cross to donate blood to the school center in Uetze. A total of 153 donated their blood. “A complete success,” says Elke Blank from DRK Uetze.

No buffet, but antibody test. Due to the pandemic, there was no buffet this time either, instead the DRK offered a free antibody test against the corona virus. “Apparently the offer was so well received that we had to close at 7 p.m. because there were too many visitors and we didn’t have enough staff,” says Blank.
