151 instead of 70 km/h: fast car introduced in Linz

LINZ. A 39-year-old man was driving on the B1 in Linz on Saturday night at 151 km/h instead of the 70 km/h allowed. His car was temporarily impounded.

“At 10:30pm a car was driving towards the city center and was measured at 151 km/h. A traffic stop was possible in the Siemensstrasse area. After the measurement tolerance was removed, the 39-year-old North Macedonian driver from the Linz-Land region exceeded the maximum permitted speed by 76 km/h. For this reason, his driver’s license was confiscated and the car was temporarily impounded. A report will be made,” the police said.
