The Animal Defense Institute stressed that epidemic prevention personnel went to chicken farms today to carry out disinfection and culling work, and a total of 15,804 chickens were culled; since mid-December last year, there have been 10 poultry farms in the county H5N1 highly pathogenic avian influenza virus subtype, 3 field H5N2 highly pathogenic avian influenza virus subtype, a total of nearly 100,000 poultry have been culled.
The Institute of Animal Defense said the bird flu epidemic has been on the rise since last winter compared to previous years and reminds county poultry farms to continue to strengthen inspections and implement various biosecurity measures on the farm. strengthen the disinfection of the farm area, and strictly ban all poultry outside the farm. If an abnormality is found, the local animal epidemic prevention agency should be informed immediately to help clarify the cause.
