The Dracénoise Association of old Renaults (Adar) is organizing a new rally this Sunday. This annual event, which began four years ago, has been thwarted in recent years by the pandemic and climatic hazards.
“We have put the package on advertising and we will normally take advantage of favorable weather”explains Claude Morena, vice-president of the association, who has no doubt that “The exhibition will go well”.
This gathering, which brings together collectors from all over the region, will line up 150 cars. “On the program, enthusiasts of mechanics, pre-war cars, motorcycles, but also “sports” ones, like an Alpine A110 that took part in the Monte-Carlo Rally », Details the vice-president.
Pin-up and rally simulator
If the event is organized by collectors of old Renaults, other anthology models will also be present on Sunday.
For example, a replica of a Ferrari 330 P4, known for having achieved a hat-trick at the 24 hours of Daytona in 1967, will come from Aix-en-Provence.
In addition, to satisfy owners in need of parts, a car and motorcycle exchange is organized, with around twenty exhibitors.
Alongside the vehicles, you can find a clothing stand for a professional from Le Muy, pin-ups, a fast food stand, and a driving simulator on rally cars and circuits.
