In the early days of reality shows in our country, one star stood out quite strongly – Peño, who got into Big Brother as the girl Pepi. Even today, the reality star continues to be a legend that is the subject of numerous clips, gifs and memes on social networks.
Big Brother was definitely a phenomenon on the local airwaves when it started in 2004. Thanks to the show, some sensations were born that we still remember today, and some of them became successful and famous influencers, such as Zara and Zeyneb Madjurova. The two women have quite well developed Instagram pages and Zeyneb has even managed to build a successful television career.
We were soon reminded of another cult contestant from the third season of the show, namely Pazzo, who stood out for his behavior, but also something else: his little jokes with another contestant who pretended to be a woman but was actually he was a man.
We are talking about Penyo Daskalov, whose participation in the reality show was scandalous at the time. In 2006, there was talk of men wanting to be women, but that rarely happened on national airwaves. Unlike today, when the topic of transsexuality is not such a taboo, but it is not viewed with a particularly favorable eye, especially here in the Balkans.
The Chirpan native entered the Big Brother house with a secret mission to fool all the contestants that he is indeed a woman, and it worked very well at first. We remind you that in the show Peño also underwent plastic surgery to look better. Panayot Kyuchukov of Galabovo was so deceived that she almost delved into her relationship with him, but everything narrowly missed.
15 years later, Peño is not talked about often, and there is no official profile for him on social networks, at least not with his birth name. Several publications state that Peño looked completely like a woman these days. Some time ago, unconfirmed information appeared that Daskalov began working as a waiter in her hometown. Peño or Paris, as he was also called, dreamed of the big stage, but did not break through as a singer.
A few years ago, in an interview, Peño shared the following: “When I create things of value and I’m ready to brag about it, I’ll go back to the media. Otherwise, I’m doomed to wonder only about Panayiot and my nose.” Well, several years later, this hasn’t happened yet, but Daskalov may surprise us, writes the Vbox7 channel.
