A 15-year-old boy dressed as Spiderman was attacked by a group of teenagers, who allegedly lured him to a park in New York to break his nose, according to a video shared on social media.

Without warning, a young girl then tries to hit him in the face for the first time, before hitting him in the nose with a second blow and leaving laughing.
In the footage, the stunned young man can be seen stepping back, then removing his mask as the small crowd screams and laughs, revealing his bloodied face.
“My son was attacked for the sole purpose of entertaining bored teenagers, targeted because he is different from them, and violently attacked because he had the courage to stand out from the crowd and be himself “, continued his mother in her message to denounce the intimidation of which her son would be the victim for years.

The message didn’t fall on deaf ears: cosplayers across the country reportedly gathered at the park to record messages of support for the youngster, and a superhero-themed barbecue was reportedly held there in his honour.
At the same time, a crowdfunding page was set up, raising more than US$10,000 to provide the teenager with martial arts training, the American media reported.
For her part, the young girl in the video would have been arrested and charged with second degree assault, the Hudson Falls police department would have indicated according to the “New York Post”.
