The 2024-25 season of the Endesa League has started with great games, but also with great performances from the newcomers. Below we present the 15 signings that can be key in their teams’ season, one per club.

Age: 20 years
Joan Peñarroya’s new project needs the Spanish point guard to be a competitive reality from the beginning. He will fight for the position with Tomas Satoransky, but his ability to generate from the 2×2 and directly enhance the game of Willy Hernangómez are keys that the Czech playmaker cannot offer. Furthermore, his growth will be fundamental for the Spanish team, which needs to have the Madrid native as a starting point guard in the next Eurobasket.

After several seasons at a high level in Badalona, the white team has decided to bet heavily on the Dominican. He starts as a replacement for Facundo Campazzo, but his versatility and scoring ability will allow him to have a main role, and even form an outside pair with the Argentine. Last season he was one of the best players outside of the Euroleague, and this year he may be the best sixth man in the Endesa League.

Baskonia to Valencia Basket

Age: 31 years
Pedro Martínez had Costello in mind since he returned to Valencia Basket. His outside shot starting from inside positions is the key to his game and points to a key piece in the project. A player with experience, the ability to intimidate and, above all, an ideal reading of the game to be surrounded by so much talent. His fit with Ethan Happ, Jaime Pradilla and Nate Sestina can bring a lot of joy to Taronja fans.
Trent Forrest
Atlanta Hawks to Baskonia
Position: Base
Age: 26 years
The North American arrives to be Markus Howard’s squire in Vitoria and the heir of Codi Miller-McItyre. A physical point guard, with several NBA seasons behind him, but who will experience a quick adaptation to European basketball with Pablo Laso. Its impact will determine the competitive ceiling of a Baskonia that begins the season wanting to once again be the great alternative to Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, and why not, dream of lifting a title.

One of the most special signings this summer in the Endesa League. Jaka Lakovic will have a unique talent, capable of generating play from his two meters height and being the main offensive asset of a team. His main handicap, the irregularity that has marked his career in Europe. The newly promoted is having a great summer in the transfer market, combining bets like Michael Caicedo, with established players to obtain permanence. Corey Walden is a solid point guard, with scoring ability and experience in the Euroleague with Bayern Munich a couple of seasons ago. His fit with Rafa Villar and Dee Bost will be one of the keys to Gerard Find’s project in Lleida’s return to the Endesa League.

Age: 24 years
After a year on loan in Girona, the new sports director, Fernando San Emeterio, has decided to keep it as his property. And if injuries allow him, he can be one of the best point guards in the Endesa League. The Argentine controls the game like few others, leads and is capable of improving his teammates with his talent in the pick & roll. The team led by Fotis Katsikaris accumulates outside talent, but none with Juani Marcos’ reading of the game.

Ratiopharm Ulm al Leyma Coruña
Position: Forward
Age: 26 years
One of the most underrated signings of this summer. The Galician team has opted for experienced names to obtain permanence, but the arrival of LJ Figueroa represents a very interesting bet for the coaching team for Epi. Last season he shone in Germany and upon his arrival in Spain he aims to be a complete player with the ability to score from the perimeter. If their adaptation is good, the Galicians will be closer to permanence.
Mario Saint-Supery
Unicaja at BAXI Manresa
Position: Base
Age: 18 years
One of the most exciting movements of the summer. After being loaned to the Leb Oro in Tizona and shining under the guidance of Diego Ocampo, this season he repeats the operation in Manresa with the same coach. A guarantee of success that allows us to be excited about his jump to the Endesa League. The point guard will have to adapt to the demands of the competition, but if he can find the necessary consistency, he can be one of the main players on his team.
Bojan Dubljevic
Zenit San Petersburg at Casademont Zaragoza

Age: 32 years
The legend of Valencia Basket returns to Spain. Porfi Fisac has trusted his talent to guide Casademont Zaragoza to Playoff and Copa del Rey positions. And the Montenegrin aims to be one of the team’s scoring references. His talent to open the court and his scoring from the low post can be differential in such an evenly matched zone. Furthermore, his fit with Jilson Bango, the other internal signing, aims to be crucial for the skilled club.

Estra Pistoia to La Laguna Tenerife

Age: 26 years
One of the sensations of the last Italian LEGA lands in the Endesa League and aims high in the Txus Vidorreta project. A point guard who has points, in fact he has scored 16 on average the previous year, and is compatible on the court with Marcelinho Huertas and Bruno Fitipaldo to form a high-level backcourt. Kyle Guy’s shadow is very long, but Willis arrives wanting to win the affection of Santiago Martín through magical performances.

Pablo Pin has reinforced his four position with a player who guarantees points, work and physicality. The Frenchman knows the Endesa League from his time in Andorra and should be a key player in the new Andalusian project, playing a main role from the beginning. Coviran Granada needs to create a good partnership with Jacob Wiley in paint and with its new point guard Sergi García as soon as possible, to live a calmer season than the previous ones.

Telekom Basket Bonn al Bilbao Basket
Position: Base
Age: 27 years
Jaume Ponsarnau’s team has moved very well in the transfer market to sign a point guard with experience in Spain, specifically in Primera FEB, and with good performance at a continental level. The Norwegian Frey will arrive in Bilbao with stripes and will have the mission of leading the team and, in turn, assuming scoring responsibility in key moments. The pairing he forms with Melwin Pantzar will mark the Basques’ competitive ceiling this season.
Shannon Evans
Galatasaray al Moraban Andorra
Position: Base
Age: 30 years
This scorer has become a classic for Liga Endesa teams. If a project is looking for an electric point guard, with points and decisive in the final moments of matches, it turns to the former Betis, Valencia Basket and Joventut player. And Natxo Lezkano, faced with the departure of two leading scorers such as Jean Montero and Tyson Pérez, did not hesitate to sign him. Andorra opts for fast and vertical play, and Evans fits like a glove in this system.
Devon Dotson
Youth Workshop
Position: Base
Age: 25 years
It is not easy to find a replacement for Andrés Feliz, but Dotson is prepared to take on the challenge. Dani Miret was looking for a physical profile with points in this point guard to accompany more traditional game directors like Guillem Vives or form a more scoring backcourt with Kassius Robertson or Keye Van Der Vuurst. His good games in the final stretch of the season with Obradoiro predict a good campaign for the North American.
