You have to organize the flights yourself. In terms of price, this depends heavily on where you start from and how long you want to stay in London / Southampton beforehand and then in New York. From Southampton you can get to the British capital inexpensively by train or bus; there is, for example, the coach provider National Express Tickets for the equivalent of about 6 € one way. A direct flight from London to many German airports is often available from €15-30. For the return flight, there are currently options in Business Class for around €1,300. In Economy from around €280.
We definitely recommend catching a flight that gets to England on time – you’re out of luck if you lose your connection.
