15 groups participate in the Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University mental health event

i did Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal UniversityWorld Mental Health Day, organized by the University Counseling Centre.
This was attended by the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Abdul Wahed Al Mazrou, the Director of the Center, Dr. Abeer Rasheed, and deans of colleges and institutions and students.

The event included a mental health awareness show, with more than 15 parties involved, as well as the National Center for Mental Health Promotion, and many speeches.

Dr. Al Mazrou confirmed that the university was willing to implement the World Mental Health Day. To focus on the importance of health and psychological life for students at the university levels, and thus achieve performance and increase the academic level of students, appreciating the role of the institution and its staff in provide scientific content.
In turn, the director of the center, Dr. Abeer Rashid, said that the exhibition aims to promote mental health, correct wrong information about mental health, as well as provide information about treatment and how it’s done.
