15 colorful photos that change the way you see history

Currently, photography is the simplest and most reliable way to get closer to the past. Although its principles were discovered about 2,500 years ago and photography was established as a technology about 200 years ago, it wasn’t until the 1880s that it started to catch on with Kodak (previously it was just a professional thing). Even so, many early photos were limited by being black and white.

We live immersed in a world of colors, so it is difficult to identify with the black and white scenes of the first photographs, but with a little technology and artistic talent, such as that of an illustrator Sebastian de Oliveira, it is possible to color and give new life to classic historical images. Here we show you 15 color retouched photos that will make you travel back in time to other times.
