A 15 billion-euro hydrogen valley project, twice and a half the entire recovery plan, is being prepared by employers’ organizations. The area of the Maritza East complex will be used for it.
This was announced by the chairman of BICA Vasil Velev during the press conference of the employers’ organizations in BTA.
The project will be presented tomorrow in Germany by the business delegation that will accompany President Rumen Radev. There was a lot of interest from Germany, and the investments will be extremely private.
The hydrogen valley will produce pure hydrogen for energy, transport and sales. “It is part of our vision and the long-term energy price forecasts we have made until 2050 – various scenarios in which a full transformation of energy costs 70-80 euros per megawatt hour. However, this was before global inflation, it will lead to 90-100 euros, “Velev explained.
