The 14th Generation Intel Core Processor with the Codename Raptor Lake Refresh for Desktop PCs has finally been released. At the start of its launch this time, Intel released at least six variants ranging from the super fast Core i9 series to the more affordable Core i5. Supposedly, this processor will be available in the Indonesian market in the near future.
The six variants of the 14th Generation Intel Core processor consist of Core i9 14900K, Core i9 14900KF, Core i7 14700K, Core i7 14700KF, Core i5 14600K, and Core i5 14600KF. Intel processors with the letter F ending as usual do not have Integrated Graphics. At this time it is not known whether there will be a Core i3 variant.
The Core i9 14900K and Core i9 14900KF still have an 8 P-Core and 16 E-Core configuration with an Intel Smart Cache size of 36 MB like their predecessors. The difference is more in the Clock Speed sector where the Thermal Velocity Boost now reaches 6 GHz. Of course, such a clock speed can be achieved without the need for complicated settings.
Quite significant changes can be seen on the Core i7 14700K and Core i7 14700KF. Compared to its predecessor which used an 8 P-Core and 8 E-Core configuration, the newest one is equipped with 8 P-Cores and 12 E-Cores, so the Multithread performance is much faster. In addition to the increased number of cores, the size of the Intel Smart Cache has also increased to 33 MB, from the previous 30 MB.
Moving on to the Core i5 14600K and Core i5 14600KF, these two processors also use the same configuration as their predecessors with 6 P-Cores and 8 E-Cores. Like the Core i9, the latest Core i5 has only increased in Clock Speed, which is 5.3 GHz for Max Turbo.
It turns out that the 14th Generation Intel Core processor still uses the LGA1700 socket and is still compatible with 600/700 Series Chipset Motherboards. So there is no need to replace the latest motherboard if you previously used a 12th or 13th Generation Intel Core processor. Users just need to update the Motjerboard BIOS.
So, which 14th Generation Intel Core processor interests you?
