149 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Córdoba – News

The Ministry of Health of Córdoba reported that this Saturday 149 new cases of coronavirus in the province.

Of these infected, 75 are domiciled in Córdoba Capital, one in Malvinas Argentinas, one in Agua de Oro, four in Camilo Aldao, four in General Roca, one in Inriville, one in Leones, 25 in Los Surgentes, four in Marcos Juarez, seven in Monte Buey, one in Río Cuarto, one in Río Primero, one in Villa Santa Rosa, nine in Oncativo, two in Arroyito, one in Alta Gracia, six in Oliva, one in Almafuerte, three in Monte Maíz and one imported (Brazil).

Of the total cases, 92 are linked to close contacts of previously confirmed patients, 56 are under investigation and one is imported.

On the other hand, this Saturday a case was notified to the National Health Surveillance System (SNVS), corresponding to a person with residence in the province of Buenos Aires, but with legal address in Pilar (Río Segundo).

In this way, the province of Córdoba registers to date a total of 149 new infected and a cumulative of 3,300 cases.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in the province of Córdoba, tests with PCR (swabs) were carried out on 141,280 people. This results in a rate of 37,569 people studied with CRP for every 1 million inhabitants. This Saturday 3,984 studies were carried out, of which 1,961 are PCR and 2,023 serological tests.

Four deaths were reported this Saturday due to Covid-19 in the province of Córdoba. They correspond to two men, ages 66 and 50, and two women, ages 62 and 93. At the moment, 41 people are hospitalized in beds of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for Covid-19 adults, which represents 5.22% of the total beds in the public and private sectors of the Córdoba province.
