The Territorial Delegation for Promotion, Articulation of the Territory and Housing of the Junta in Jan is going to allocate 140,000 euros to the installation of lights on the A-6177 access road to the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Cabeza, in Andjar. This is an action included in the project to improve the energy efficiency of ten tracks of autonomous ownership in the province of Jan for a global amount of 2.1 million euros.
The delegate Miguel Contreras has visited the municipality to publicize this investment “widely demanded, especially by the users of the residence for the elderly that adjoins this road, who demanded correct lighting to be able to access when working in the center or to visit their relatives.
The delegate, who was accompanied by the mayor of the municipality, Pedro Luis Rodrguez, stressed “the important contribution of this project not only to improve lighting in the area, but also to contribute to sustainable development by trying to consume the least amount of energy.” energy and favoring the use of solar energy”.
Specifically, two kilometers of the pedestrian lane of the A-6177 road will be acted on through new luminaires with a photovoltaic plant, in such a way that they do not need an electrical installation for their operation. The contract for this intervention has already been awarded.
This project, presented last February, contemplates the replacement or renovation of existing lighting installations on four road sections of the provincial network: the access to Jan Oeste through the old N-321 current A-6050 R1 (Crdoba highway, exit 57 of the A-316); Northwest access to the city of Jan via the A-316, between kilometers 50 and 51; the section of Autova A-316 access to beda, between kilometers 0 and 3.3; and the access to the Guadiel Industrial Estate, on the A-6100 highway at kilometer 9.4.
The remaining six actions will be carried out in areas that currently lack lighting, so the purpose of the project is to provide them with new LED technology lighting installations. In addition to the aforementioned access road to the Sanctuary of Andjar, work will also be done on the roundabout of the Highway Conservation Center, at exit 66 of the A-316; the roundabout located at kilometer 1 of the A-403R1 at the exit of Alcal la Real; also the roundabout located at kilometer 2 of the A-403R1 highway at the exit of Alcal la Real; and the road that gives access to a spread located on the EF A-6050 road to the south of Jan.
