Authorities arrested a 14-year-old teenager for allegedly firing a BB gun at two people, in different cases, and wounding them in the Bronx. Authorities are still looking for other suspects who acted with him.
The minor was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
According to the New York City Police, the first case occurred on November 3, around 10:50 p.m., when the suspects approached a 73-year-old fruit stand employee in front of 3764 White. Plains Road. The alleged attackers shot the victim’s face with the BB gun before fleeing and also recorded the events with a cell phone. The victim was transported to a hospital in stable condition.
The next incident occurred on November 8, around 9:00 p.m., and this time the suspects approached the 37-year-old conductor of a MTA train operating a line 2 subway on the East 219th Street. The suspects fired the BB gun at the man’s face through the subway window before it started. The victim ended up with a cut to his face and was transported to the hospital.
