“I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and sound, but I’m heartbroken and it’s hard to even find the right words to say,” the 14-year-old social media star explained to TMZ.
“It’s been a very traumatic 24 hours. All yesterday I was bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful phone calls from loved ones trying to sort this out.”
Thea continued: “My Instagram account was hacked by a third party and used to spread confusing misinformation and rumors about me.”
It has already been reported that the announcement of the young woman’s death was published on her official Instagram account. It said her death was tragic and unexpected. Her 21-year-old brother, Jason Tian, was also said to have died and both deaths are under investigation.
