14-Year-Old Boy Stabbed in Neck in Bronx Dispute: Witnesses Describe Scene at Pelham Parkway Subway Station

A 14-year-old boy was stabbed in the neck in a dispute in the Bronx Saturday night, according to authorities and witnesses.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing near Pelham Parkway around 6:05 p.m., police said.

Emergency medical services The child was taken to the Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition.

Witnesses at the scene said that a fight broke out near a TD Bank, just steps from the Pelham Parkway subway station for trains 2 and 5.

Later, the New York Post was able to observe An NYPD evidence collection team collecting a blood-covered hammer and sweater outside the bank.

“There were two or three people who hit him”he said, adding that the victim looked like a high school student.

The employee noted that he did not see the actual stabbing, but saw the teen being loaded into the ambulance.

“I saw his face,” he said. “There was a lot of blood coming out of his mouth. He was sitting, he was conscious”.

The description of the suspects in the deadly attack has not been released at this time. No arrests have been made in this regard.
