14 people were arrested in the middle of the rumba in the state of Táchira

For contempt and violation of decree No. 4,230, inherent in the state of alarm throughout the national territory, for the prevention and eradication of COVID-19, 14 people were apprehended by the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) at the time they were in full swing. Rumba, drinking alcoholic beverages on public roads, in the La Ermita sector, in San Cristóbal, Táchira state.

It was this Sunday night, when the uniformed officers practiced the procedure. When they were traveling along Carrera 1 with Calle 10, they observed that, in front of the San Miguel service station, there was a large group of people (men and women), consuming alcoholic beverages.

Therefore, the police commission proceeded to intervene and detain them and then transfer them to the police center, identifying them all as adults. The ages ranged from 19 to 37 years, who were seized 11 units of full beer, a beer locker with 36 bottles, a cellar, an audio horn, two bottles of rum, a Ford K vehicle plated plate AC082YK and a black and white Suzuki GSX motorcycle without a license plate.

All these artifacts, objects and belongings of the citizens were left to the order of the Public Ministry, who were handed over as evidence of what happened. The identities of those captured are still unknown.
