More than ten people were arrested during the farmers’ protests in Berlin on Monday. A total of 14 criminal proceedings have been initiated, a police spokeswoman said on Tuesday at the request of the German Press Agency.
According to the information, more than two dozen people were temporarily arrested and their identities were checked.
According to the police, the criminal charges were filed for, among other things, dangerous bodily harm, damage to property, violation of the Explosives Act and insult and resistance to law enforcement officers. Three officers were injured during the protests, the spokeswoman said. One of them required treatment and was unable to continue his service.
