Mie prefecture announced on December 3 that 1,320 people in the prefecture (including 289 announced by Yokkaichi city) have been infected with the new coronavirus. The total number of infected people in the prefecture has reached 305,384.
According to the announcement, the breakdown of infected people by municipality is 289 in Yokkaichi City, 182 in Tsu City, 154 in Suzuka City, 115 in Kuwana City, 106 in Matsusaka City, 80 in Iga City, 61 in Ise Town and 60 41 each in Inabe City and Toin Town, 36 in Komono Town, 26 in Kameyama City, 19 in Tamaki Town, 11 each in Shima City, Kawagoe and Watarai Towns, 10 each in Asahi Town, 9 each to Owase City and Taki Town 8 from outside the prefecture, 7 each from Toba City and Kihoku Town, 6 from Meiwa Town, 4 each from Kumano City, Odai and Kiho Town, 3 from Minamiise Town, 2 from Taiki Town, 1 each from Kisomisaki and Mihama Town, 2 unknown.
The number of hospitalized in the prefecture decreased by 23 compared to the previous day to 208, of which 3 were seriously ill, down by 1.
