Cheer as much as possible
At this event, the visitors are divided into five ‘bubbles’ of 250 people, plus a group of 50 people. Different rules apply for each bubble. For example, some visitors have to wear a mouth mask and others are encouraged to cheer as much as possible.
Dj Sam Feldt is really looking forward to his performance: “You really miss the energy of the crowd– of the people. And hits become hits on the dance floor, then you polish some more and make it even better. “
For Sam Feldt it has been a year since he was in front of a large audience. In March last year he had to abort a tour of the US. He calls the one-off event for 1500 people a great first step. “Also to show, hopefully, that it is possible again in a certain way. I also see light at the end of the tunnel again. We have now been in it for about a year together and with the vaccinations, the testing possibilities. and these kind of test events, I think there are a lot of signs that we will hopefully see more parties in the summer.
The audience in the Ziggo Dome could not wait to celebrate again. The event sold out within 20 minutes. “It’s a very strange feeling,” says one visitor. “You have not experienced this for a year, now you are here again with a number of people close together. That just feels strange. But glad that something is possible again.”
According to many visitors, partying with a negative corona test is definitely worth repeating:
