130 countries support minimum tax for multinationals agreed by G7

Over the past few weeks, representatives of 139 countries have been negotiating the proposal under the auspices of the OECD. The international organization now announces that 130 countries, which together represent more than 90 percent of the world’s gross domestic product (GDP), support the tax plan. A small group of countries, including Ireland and Hungary, do not yet do so.
