Jakarta –
No one really knows the path of a person’s life. This woman, for example, has been in the profession for 13 years air hostess, but now he has turned into a chicken seller in the market. Here’s the story.
Collect mStar (22/2), Nurhafaniza Yusuf had worked for almost 13 years as air hostess Malaysian Airlines (MAS). The woman with the nickname Niza admitted that her life seemed to end when she was dismissed from the Malaysian national airline.
In 2016, Niza along with 6,000 other MAS employees had to be willing to be laid off because of a new structure at the company. He didn’t give up on his condition either.
Not lamenting her fate for so long, Niza chose to swerve to become a chicken seller in the market. This is not without reason because the chicken business is inherited from the mother.
“I believe that behind every incident there must be a lesson. At that time my mother was also sick, had a mild stroke. So I decided to return to my hometown,” said Niza. He said his mother’s chicken business at Pasar Siti Khadijah, Kelantan has been around for more than 30 years.
“After I was laid off from MAS, I took over my mother’s chicken business. In the past, she was worried about who would continue her business because her 3 children had their own jobs,” said Niza.
He also saw his condition being laid off from work as an opportunity to have a new way of life. “All the profits I get (from selling chicken pieces) I will share with my mother,” said Niza.
Even though her place works in a muddy market now, Niza enjoys it. He also keeps neat memories of ever being a flight attendant. He said that he used to always wear a uniform, be neat, and be disciplined in following company rules.
“I got a lot of knowledge during that time air hostess. And that knowledge is still useful even though I am no longer a flight attendant,” he said. The knowledge in question is about etiquette and how to speak.
Niza applies this knowledge when dealing with buyers or potential buyers. he uses eye contact and body language which should.
Niza also noticed his appearance. She admits that she still uses light makeup and lipstick when selling to make her look neat and pleasing to the eye. “Not only for other people, I do this also to respect myself,” he said.
Niza is grateful that her profession as a broiler is supported by the people around her, including her husband. The mother of 4 children advised other people who have suffered a similar fate not to give up hope.
