13-Year-Old Girl in China Depletes Family’s Savings of $64,000 on Mobile Phone Games

She also paid for the games of her classmates.

In China, a child wiped out his family’s entire savings of 449,500 yuan ($64,000) while playing a game on his mobile phone.

How informs South China Morning Post, a 13-year-old girl from Henan province, central China, found her mother’s bank card and used it to fund a game freely.

Her mother, Wang, was informed by a teacher who noticed that the girl spends a lot of time on her phone and feared that she might be playing paid games.

Local media reported that Wang checked her bank account and found that it was actually empty.
Probably around 100,000 yuan ($14,000) was spent buying games for other classmates.

“When they asked me to pay for their games, I paid despite my reluctance,” the girl said.

The schoolgirl hid the information from her teacher because “her parents would find out and get angry.”

Wang says her daughter has deleted all phone transactions.

According to the Post, the girl managed to cash out in a surprisingly fast four months, spending about 120,000 yuan ($16,800) on the games themselves and 210,000 yuan ($29,400) on in-game purchases.

She claimed that she knew nothing about money and its origin, and when she found the card, she simply tied it to her phone.

Recall that the woman confused superglue with drops and poured it into her eyes. She told and showed a video of how it all ended.
