They met on the Internet. A 13-year-old girl files a complaint against a 21-year-old young man and accuses her of having raped her on several occasions. This teenage girl from the Ancenis region fled from her home on Monday evening March 1 with this man with whom she had come into contact on the social network Instagram. It was during this four-day runaway that she claims to have suffered unwanted sex.
An investigation for a disturbing disappearance
As soon as the parents of the teenager reported the disappearance of the young girl, the Ancenis gendarmes opened an investigation to find her. The first elements they gathered led them to think that she was with this young man unfavorably known to justice. He was indeed already convicted last year of sexual assault and is currently indicted for rape in another case. Arrested on Friday March 5, he is now in pre-trial detention. If the acts of rape are not characterized at the present time, the 13-year-old teenager is receiving psychological follow-up and the investigation procedure in the event of rape was initiated by the Nantes prosecutor’s office and the gendarmerie.
