After three consecutive days with only one new infection each, 13 new corona cases were registered in the state of Bremen on Tuesday. According to the health department, all new infections are in the city of Bremen. Another Covid19 patient died here. The number of active cases increases by four to 91. Last Tuesday, however, there were 16 new infections; the number of active infections at that time was 170.
In view of this, the incidence value for the city of Bremen has dropped slightly from 7.4 on Monday to 6.9 now. In Bremerhaven, the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days remains 0.9 as on the previous day.
Incidence values in Bremen and Bremerhaven
According to the health department, three people in the state of Bremen currently have to be treated as inpatients, one of them in the intensive care unit. The person receiving intensive care must therefore be ventilated.
According to the authorities, there are currently seven corona infections in an inpatient geriatric care facility in Bremen, four residents and three employees are affected. There are no acute infections in the city of Bremerhaven.
