A gunman fired several shots at a school in Izhevsk, Russia on Monday. Police confirm that the perpetrator took his own life.

The police investigation commission confirmed that 13 people were killed in the school shooting.
Seven of the people killed are children, two teachers and two security guards.
According to the RIA, 14 children and 7 adults were injured. Police are still working to confirm the number of deaths and injuries.
Police confirm that the perpetrator took his own life. According to the governor of Izhevsk, the perpetrator has not been identified.
– The attacker committed suicide. He wore a black T-shirt with Nazi symbols and a balaclava. He didn’t have any documents. We are working to find the identity, says the investigative commission at the RIA.
According to the head of the investigation commission, Aleksandr Bastyrkin, the Moscow leadership will lead the investigation.
Russian President Vladimir Putin condemned the school shooting on Monday, calling it an inhumane terrorist attack.
Seeking coverage in the classrooms
According to Telegram channel 112, filming began while classes were underway.
Videos posted on social media show chaotic scenes of students taking shelter in classrooms and children being evacuated and running into school corridors.
Emergency services are heavily present outside the school. A video from outside the school shows firefighters and civilians carrying out an injured person.
According to the President of the Republic of Udmurtia, it happened in school no. 88 of Izhevsk. It is already clear that the school guard was killed. Among the victims are children, says Aleksandr Bechalov, according to Meduza.
Izhevsk is located about 1,500 kilometers east of Moscow. The city is best known as Kalashnikov’s hometown – the arms manufacturer has both a factory and a headquarters in the city.

Shooting at the recruiting office
There was one early Monday morning shooting in a recruiting office in the Russian city of Ust-Ilimsk. The head of the office is seriously injured, according to the governor of the Irkutsk region, Igor Kobzev Jellyfish.
A video from the center shows a person firing shots and several men trying to escape. It also shows that a person has been arrested.
According to Meduza, a 25-year-old from the area was behind the shooting.
The shooting in Irkutsk adds to the fact that there have been sabotage actions against a number of such recruiting offices in recent days.
