The Football Association closed the summer transfer window today at five in the evening, which was opened last July 13 to register and register first team players in professional clubs, first class clubs, second and third division teams and youth for the 2022-2023 sports season.
Councilor Yaqoub Muhammad Al-Ali, a member of the Players’ Status and Transfers Committee, official spokesperson for the committee, confirmed during his speech at the press conference held at the Dubai Football Association headquarters, that the demands of the clubs during the first period “summer” membership amounted to 1274 requests, including 55 substitutions and 58 domestic players on loan. 205 professional club applications were completed, including 159 player registration applications, 5 “replacement” players, 27 domestic loan players and 14 registration declarations.
The requests from first class clubs amounted to 413 requests, divided into 360 requests for player registration, 5 “replacement” players, 30 players on loan within the country, 5 requests for the transfer of a player within the country and 13 declarations of membership.
Tier two clubs submitted 180 requests, ranging from 153 player registration requests, 17 player substitution requests and 10 registration statements.
While third-tier clubs filed 282 applications, they ranged between 259 player registration requests, 15 player replacement requests, one single player transfer request within the country, and one single player loan request. player within the country and 6 registration statements.
A total of 112 requests were submitted for the U-21 team, “Professional League”, divided into 90 requests for player registration, 3 requests for transfer of players within the country, 5 “replacement” players and 14 declarations of registration.
Although 82 applications were made for youth teams under the age of 21, they ranged between 66 player registration requests, one request to transfer a player within the country, 8 replacement requests and 7 registration statements.
