She was assured during the meeting of the availability of sufficient strategic needs for personal protective supplies for medical staff from protective suits for single use, “guanities” and gags, and also responded to their requests to provide high-speed internet to facilitate their work tasks, and was directed to respond to all the needs of medical teams and deal immediately with any challenges they may face and overcome them , In recognition of their national and extraordinary efforts to tackle the emerging coronavirus and protect citizens’ health.
I drew the necessity of continuous psychological support teams inside the isolation hospitals to provide moral support to the medical staff and effective communication with them.
The Minister also directed a responsible presence on an ongoing basis from the Preventive Measures Follow-up Committee, which was formed to enhance the protection of medical staff in the isolation hospitals, where he supervises infection control measures, chiefly wearing and removing protective clothing safely.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to raise its preparations in all governorates, follow the situation first-hand regarding the “emerging corona” virus, and take all necessary precautions against any viruses or infectious diseases, as the hotline “105” and “15335” has been allocated to receive citizens’ inquiries about a virus Corona emerging and infectious diseases.
