Since last week, Ukraine has continued to report dire conditions in cities around Kyiv after Russian troops left.
In Bucha, hundreds of bodies were reported lying on the streets. So many, that the bodies were buried in mass graves.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, was furious when he received this report. He said Russian troops were killing Ukrainians just for fun.
This condition has also angered a number of world leaders. The President of the United States, Joe Biden, then called for President Vladimir Putin to be brought before an international tribunal for alleged war crimes.
The United Nations Security Council also held a number of meetings to discuss conditions in Bucha and other cities around Kyiv.
Meanwhile, Russia denied these reports. They accused the US and other Western countries of deliberately spreading this issue to lead public opinion.
