120,000 Worshipers Perform Eid Prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque Without Incident

On Friday morning, about 120,000 worshipers performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque, east of Jerusalem, without incidents of tension, according to the Islamic Endowments Department in the city.

The department stated that the worshipers gathered in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and its chapels, after they flocked to pray, despite the restrictions of the Israeli police.

However, the Islamic Endowments Department estimated that more than 4 million worshipers visited Al-Aqsa Mosque over the course of Ramadan.
