The police carried out a manhunt for three people who jumped from a truck in Aalbeke with more than 1,200 kilograms of cocaine. This confirms the public prosecutor’s office of West Flanders, Kortrijk department.

The men jumped out of the truck near the distribution center of sanitary company Van Marcke and fled. A check showed that there were no less than 1,200 kilograms of cocaine in the truck.
The police were alerted, and they used all means to apprehend the trio. Agents from different zones were deployed.
“The truck driver has been interrogated,” said the public prosecutor. An investigating judge was also appointed. The three persons are still on the run. An investigation is underway. ‘
