The toll of the coronavirus epidemic in France has risen to 120 dead, 29 more than on Saturday, and 5,400 cases of contamination confirmed since January, or 900 more cases in one day, the minister announced on Sunday evening of Health Olivier Véran on France 2.
This increase in the number of deaths and contaminations is the largest recorded in France since the appearance of the virus on the territory.
The Minister of Health was very concerned. “Today I saw happy grandparents with their grandchildren, beautiful pictures, the weather is nice, but I can tell you that the virus is invisible, it travels fast, it threatens people’s lives. I conjures the French to respect the social restriction measures“, he insisted.
