12-year-old raves in school bathroom, teachers confiscate equipment
A 12-year-old boy has gotten into trouble with his teachers for a rather funny reason. The reason? He threw a Rave in the school bathroom. If you ask us, that’s a sign of a great DJ in the making!
Get Bell I was on the decks of the boys’ restrooms at supper time on Friday, December 11, when the teachers interrupted the party at St Antony’s Catholic College in Urmston, Greater Manchester.
Get Bell is an aspiring DJ often celebrates raves in his room with his equipment, including decks and a laptop, and decided to bring his skills to school. His mother expressed that it seemed strange that he was ready for school early in the morning of the day, with a big smile on his face, and just knew that he was going to be up to something.

Cael Bell had organized the ‘rave’ in quite an epic way: posting it a week earlier in Snapchat, with the guest list extending to all the boys in his grade, Year 8. All in attendance were offered a bottle of Lucozade and a Cadbury Twirl. And they managed to party for 30 minutes before the teachers found out what was going on. Fortunately for Bell, the teachers and his parents saw the funny side of it all.
«I had to laugh. It’s been a terrible year and I couldn’t be mad at my son for trying to spread some joy. When I got the call, it made perfect sense. Cael had gotten up, dressed, and ready to go to school early that morning, which was unheard of in our house. I asked him why he was so happy and he said they were having a rave at school. I didn’t think about it, I didn’t think for a minute that there was any truth to it. But when I found out what Cael had done, from advertising the rave on Snapchat to holding it to even offering refreshments, I couldn’t help but see the funny side. Cael’s father thought he was hysterical, he said ‘go on son’. We had a conversation about whether or not we should be angry, but how could we be?«

Users of Facebook They supported Cael’s decision to organize his own event.
One said: Brilliant, I hope you get your things back. I don’t see why the teachers didn’t see the funny side of this, especially this year ».
Another replied: “Spinning mixtures in the boys’ bathrooms, making pieces!”
A third added: «A little event planner for budding entrepreneurs! They complain that the kids can’t get up and go these days, then they moan when they do! “
Louise added: “It has certainly made a lot of people laugh, which makes us parents proud that our son can do this”.
