A 12-year-old boy disappeared this afternoon in the Tagus River, after having dived from a jetty at Ponta dos Corvos, Seixal, with various means involved in a rescue and rescue operation.
According to the captain of the Port of Lisbon, contacted by Notícias ao Minuto, witnesses at the scene gave the alert at 4:47 pm.
According to the same authority, who quotes the testimonies, two boys dived into the waters of the Tagus and one of the people who was at the site “threw himself into the water and managed to rescue one of them”. Failing to locate the other youth, 112 was called.
According to the same source, Maritime Police, Fire and INEM resources are available at the site, in a total of 27 operational personnel supported by eight vehicles, including a vessel.
