A 12-year-old boy has died playing Russian roulette with peers in the United States. It happened in Jackson, the capital of the southern state of Mississippi.
Russian roulette is a game in which a revolver is loaded with a cartridge and the turntable is pushed. This makes it unclear where the bullet is. Then a player of the game aims the revolver at his head and pulls the trigger. If there are no shells in the chamber, it is the next participant’s turn. Whoever refuses loses.
Two minors and an adult were arrested after the boy’s death. According to the local police, the two young men are accused of murder and the adult of complicity in murder.
More details are not yet known. The case is still under investigation.
