12-year-old boy caught with illegal fireworks | Inland

The boy was approached by officers when it appeared that he was hiding something in the ground. With this he ran away from the police. The officers gave chase after which the boy stopped his attempt to escape.

Upon arrest, he turned out to have eighteen pieces of so-called nitrates, illegal fireworks. The fireworks have been confiscated and are being destroyed.

The parents of the boy from Zevenbergen agreed to a so-called Halt settlement. Through Bureau Halt, young people are given a tailor-made punishment to ensure that they do not make another mistake.
