Ahead of Christmas day, December 25th, there are dozens of KPK prisoners celebrating it in a number of KPK detention centers (Rutan). This time, the KPK will allow the family to visit the convict of corruption.
News manager KPK extension Ali Fikri said that KPK detention center head Achmad Fauzi provided a policy regarding visits to detainees’ families on 25 December. Afterwards, they can meet directly in the detention center duty room.
“KPK Detention Center Head Achmad Fauzi provided a policy regarding visiting services for families of detainees during the Christmas celebrations on 25 December 2022, opening limited face-to-face visiting services for detainees and virtual visits” , said the head of the reporting unit KPK extension Ali Fikri told reporters on Friday (23/12/2022).
Separately, KPK Detention Center Head Achmad Fauzi said that families who wish to meet KPK detainees can first register with the KPK Detention Center Red and White Branch. Registration starts in the morning at 7.30 WIB.
“So, for families who visit the KPK detention center, they will come to the detention center immediately KPK extension Red and white. Because registration is centered here, so they come here to register,” Achmad Fauzi said when he met at the KPK Red and White Detention Center.
Subsequently, the family can go directly to each detention center where the detainee is located. Afterwards, inmates and their families will have face-to-face time for approximately two hours.
Then, Fauzi said that the Christmas mass for the detainees themselves would be held at the end of the family visiting period. He said the Christmas service was held at the KPK Red and White Detention Center at around 2:00 pm.
“So for that morning we will focus on family visits. Worship will be held in the afternoon. At 2 pm,” he concluded.
The KPK inmates who will celebrate Christmas in the detention center are twelve people. They are scattered in the branch of the KPK detention center.
