The Ministry of Health and Population revealed, on Tuesday, that 99 recoverers from the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 98,413 cases until today.
A statement by the Ministry of Health indicated that 158 new cases that proved positive for laboratory analyzes of the virus were recorded, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and examination procedures carried out by the ministry. According to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 12 new cases.
The Ministry of Health added that, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
The Ministry of Health stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, Tuesday, is 105,705 cases, including 98,413 cases that have been cured, and 6142 deaths.
