118,000 Ukrainian refugees have entered Romania since the beginning of the Russian invasion. Of these, 70,000 left Romania and about 46,000 thousand remained, or 39%, Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca announced on Wednesday.
Of those remaining in Romania, 18,000 are children.
Of those admitted, 1,070 applied for asylum, and 476 of them remained in asylum centers, the prime minister added.
