114 first-year teachers graduate from CENCIS schools

Mexico City. Admiral José Rafael Ojeda Durán, head of the Mexican Navy (Semar), led the graduation ceremony of 114 first-class graduates from the Nursing and Medicine schools of the Center for Naval Studies in Health Sciences (CENCIS).

At the event held at the Semar facilities in Mexico City, the first mate of the Naval Health Service, medical intern, Libertad Namorado Álvarez, stated that the Navy, “the health of our compatriots, colleagues and families, requires us to be firm, responsible, loyal and willing to share our knowledge in health care, always looking out for the common good.”

She said that the discipline, responsibility and camaraderie acquired during their studies at CENCIS will be fundamental pillars in the training and personal and professional growth of the 54 (44 women and nine men) graduates of the School of Nursing and of the 126 women and 34 men graduates of the School of Medicine.

Admiral Ojeda Durán, accompanied by the High Command of the Semar, swore in the 114 CENCIS graduates.
