Two delivery vans collided last night at the intersection of Sint Jorislaan and Stratumsedijk in Eindhoven. One of the vans ended up against the fence of a bus stop on the other side of the intersection due to the hard blow. A traffic light also had to pay for it. A third car was involved in the accident but was able to drive on.
The fire service also came to the scene because one occupant could not get out of his vehicle. In the end, no one had to go to the hospital, but the drivers were advised to visit a doctor.
The damage to the vehicles is extensive, the vans have been towed away and the intersection has now been reopened. A witness told police that one of the vans had run a red light at high speed.
