A crane operator was seriously injured just after eight o’clock this morning in an accident in a new residential area under construction in Best. According to the police, the victim was standing on the street near his crane when he was hit by a truck that had just unloaded stuff there. The accident happened at the Koppelboor in Best.
Due to the seriousness of the accident, an air ambulance landed nearby. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
