Yesterday the police conducted traffic checks throughout the day in Etten-Leur and Prinsenbeek. This happened in Hoge Neerstraat, Bredaseweg, Stationsplein in Etten-Leur and Schutsestraat in Prinsenbeek. Officers saw a long list of violations. For example, there were 21 speeding violations, someone drove with an invalid driver’s license, and two people didn’t have any ID on them.
A boy was riding without bike lights on Hoevenseweg. When the police asked for his ID, he said he was eleven years old. “Unfortunately, the thick beard in his throat betrayed that he really should have been a little bigger,” police wrote. It turned out that he was fifteen years old. The boy eventually received three fines: providing false information, not showing ID and not having bicycle lights. “Be honest next time!”
