A motorist was arrested yesterday after a short chase in Helmond. The driver ignored a police stop sign and drove away. The driver violated several traffic rules.
The driver then abandoned the car and fled on foot. After the description was distributed, the motorist was arrested in a firebreak. During the arrest, the officers used a stun gun.
Police found narcotics and a large amount of cash in the suspect’s car. The drugs, the money and the car were confiscated.
