A laboratory for the production of GHB was found in a house on Frans Heijlaertsplein in Breda. In addition, 25 kilograms of raw materials for narcotics were seized. The resident, a 29-year-old man, will receive a police report.
Twelve reports of nuisance had been received about the building in the past six weeks. Partly because of this, the police got the suspicion that the resident makes and uses GHB himself and that visitors also come by for this. Upon entering the property, it was found that a carpet on the first floor had been damaged and bitten by an aggressive liquid. In the bedroom was a stainless steel saucepan containing approximately ten liters of an acidic liquid. A bottle with GHB, jerry cans, packaging of sodium hydroxide and PET bottles were also found.
The resident can also count on measures taken by the municipality of Breda. The news was brought out on Sunday, the police action was already last Wednesday.
