An 89-year-old woman from Nieuw-Lekkerland returned home from the hospital after the van she was in pulled into the Lek. It happened on Saturday night in Krimpen aan de Lek. The van had exited the ferry platform at the place where the ferry to Kinderdijk was. The ferry skipper was right across the street. She saw it happen and came back. While checking a car on Sunday evening, police found a firearm. This happened after a noise disturbance report on the Maeterlinckweg.

–Gunshots were fired during a robbery at ‘t Plateau in Spijkenisse on Sunday evening. Police are looking for two men, around 18, who allegedly robbed a 19-year-old Rotterdammer. Nobody was hurt.

Witnesses say the men met in the parking lot and three shots were fired. Police cordoned off part of the parking lot and used a sniffer dog to look for evidence. A bullet was found in the parking lot. A bullet would also have crashed into an apartment window.
