This afternoon a fire broke out at the Tivoli event venue in Oudenbosch. The fire in the monumental building of Jezuitenplein broke out around 3 pm during the works on the roof. A hotel, restaurant and brasserie are located in the historic building in the center of Oudenbosch. The Observatory also has its headquarters there and currently migrant workers stay there.

The firefighters arrived with great equipment. The entire building was evacuated and no one was injured. The fire was extinguished fairly quickly, but is still monitored by the fire department and the municipality. There is smoke and soot damage, but the building does not appear to be damaged.
